Keep the tape measure firm and level, but not tight, you should be able to place one finger under the tape. If possible, ask someone to measure you.

CARE: Cold hand wash separately. Do not soak, rub, bleach, or wring. Gently squeeze out excess water. Dry flat in shade. Do not tumble dry. Light press with warm iron on seams. Do not dry clean.
